Seperti diberitakan di www.grisoft.com, AVG 8.0 telah dirilis pada tanggal 28 Februari 2008 kemarin. Produknya meliputi AVG Internet Security ( mencakup semua produk) , Anti Virus dan Anti Virus plus Firewall.

Tambahan feature utamanya adalah fasilitas LinkScanner web exploit protection (real-time safe searching and surfing technologies). Perbaikan/tambahan di versi ini adalah sebagai berikut :

Download AVG 8.0
AVG versi 8.0 menyediakan download trial version yang bisa dicoba semua fasilitasnya selama 30 hari. Saya sendiri sudah mencoba menggunakan AVG 8.0 Anti Virus ini, tetapi sedikit kecewa dengan penggunaan CPU yang cukup berat dibanding sebelumnya.
